Inspiration
Norman has always had a fascination with street-art - particularly the way that the medium and substrate interact to create, as he describes it; "an amazing dance of light and shade". His work shares many of the same dynamics and the paint is often "allowed to find its own way" while incorporating the fractured, straight-line structure of consistent with brickwork.
Style
Drawing on his own experience , inspiration and environment Norman creates unique and individual works. His compositions consist largely of oil on oversized canvas - each designed to provide a focal piece that would be comfortable in any home, office or board room.
